It is with great gratitude and excitement that I write this blog post to you all. My WaterBaby CranioSacral Clinic Project has been chosen as a January finalist at www.IdeaBlob.com! My project is to fund a free monthly WaterBaby CranioSacral Therapy Clinic at the Stewart Aquatic Center, a warm, therapeutic, salt-water pool in my community for babies age 0-3 to receive gentle healing touch combined with hydrotherapy, in a supportive group setting. Additionally, I will be able to pursue further study in aquatic therapy and pediatric bodywork, and develop further programs to educate parents and professionals about healing touch during pregnancy, infancy, and childhood.

Hello, everyone - I entered a contest for $10K and I want you to vote for me!

I have a dream of creating a free monthly CranioSacral Therapy clinic for infants and babies at a community therapeutic pool. I live a mile away from The Tamarack Center, and their warm, salt-water, solar powered therapeutic pool, and would love for the support to rent this facility each month for a free community clinic.

This past September I visited Maui and received an AquaCranial session from Rebecca Goff, who pioneered combining CranioSacral Therapy with ocean treatments with dolphins. It was amazing and inspiring! The integration of water in CranioSacral Therapy facilitates faster release, and Rebecca claims that AquaCranial is three times more effective than regular CranioSacral sessions.

For five years Rebecca directed a non-profit that provided free prenatal and baby craniosacral clinics in the ocean every month, as well as free treatments for all children, locally and those who flew from around the world to be treated by her, the ocean, the dolphins, and the whales.  

I would love to expand my practice to offer Aquatic CranioSacral and free community clinics for pregnant women, and mothers and babies - and I live near the most eco-pool in the state of Oregon. It's an opportunity waiting to happen.
